Porto, Portugal- the city of bridges and port production will host The Port House customers on a 4 day adventure. The voyage will take you through the heart of port productions and vineyards with a variety of activities on offer in the city- cable cars and tapas crawls, boat journeys along the Douro river and much more besides.

DAY ONE
With afternoon flights from Dublin airport, we'll arrive in Porto in the evening for check in to the luxury four star hotel in the city centre.
That evening, enjoy an evening food tour through the city's hot spots to taste the regional flavours available in Porto.
Taste Portugal's "pesticos" (tapas) from croqueta to cured ham and such unusual dishes as moelas (sauteed gizzards) and salade de polvo (octopus salad)!
DAY TWO
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before meeting in the hotel lobby at midday to walk to Vila Nova de Gaia, the hub of the port wine industry.
Here, we will explore the cellars of
Porto Calem on a private tour with tastings of the variety of ports available on the market. Followed by an exquisite lunch in a local rustic restaurant.
The late afternoon will see a boat trip down the Douro River under the famous 6 bridges that define the city followed by free time and a local
dinner.
DAY THREE
After breakfast, a meeting in the hotel lobby at midday with a coach transfer to Graham's Lodge, a circa 1890 port cellar still in operation. There, you'll enjoy private tastings, a local lunch and a tour of the
facility.
In the afternoon, Churchill's Port will host the group for an afternoon of tastings to explore the history of Port in the area. In the afternoon, you'll also get the opportunity to experience Porto's famous cable cars and, later on, a speed boat ride down the Douro. Then, we'll enjoy a local dinner as a group!
DAY FOUR
After breakfast, you have a few hours to grab a few last-minute souvenirs before heading home.
For chocolate lovers, Arcadia chocolates are a must and have been a favourite of Porto visitors since 1933! Other options include artisanal soaps, ceramic tiles, handmade jewellery, local handicrafts and tinned sardines!
We'll reconvene in the hotel lobby for an airport transfer to Porto airport. We'll arrive in the early evening back in Dublin!
